Overview
The Taiwanese American Scholarship Fund is offering financial support to Taiwanese American students with limited economic means who are pursuing higher education. Ten renewable awards of $7,500 per year (renewable for up to four years) will be granted to qualifying applicants.
Who should apply
- High school seniors or current first-year college students living in the United States.
- Intend to enroll full-time at a U.S. college or university as a first- or second-year student in the Fall semester of 2026. (If chosen, high school seniors must provide their college acceptance letter for confirmation.)
- U.S. citizens or U.S. lawful permanent residents (Permanent Resident Card holders) who are direct blood descendants of a Taiwanese citizen.
- Minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0.
- Household income at or below the applicable Federal/State/County Low Income Level. (If selected, applicants must be able to produce their 2024 or 2025 tax return for verification.)
- Open to students from all academic majors.

- Three references
- An official transcript
Additional award requirements
All recipients will be asked to produce a short YouTube video as part of their award acceptance — specific instructions will be supplied to awardees later.
