Rod Kvidahl Memorial Scholarship

Introduction
This scholarship is intended for children of employees associated with Genesis Alkali (formerly Tronox/FMC) at the Sweetwater County, Wyoming plant. The applicant’s parent must meet the employment status requirements described below at the time the award is granted.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be the child of a person who, when the scholarship is awarded, is employed by Genesis Alkali at its Sweetwater County, Wyoming facility and has held that employment for at least one year.
- Alternatively, the applicant may be the child of a Genesis Alkali (Tronox/FMC) retiree or of a person who died while employed by Tronox/FMC/Genesis Alkali.
- In short: any child of a current Genesis Alkali employee (meeting the one-year service condition), a retired employee, or a deceased employee is eligible.
Award amount
- $1,500 per academic year
Duration and renewal
- Renewable for up to four years.
- Recipients must submit a renewal form each year in order to keep receiving the scholarship.
