Miller Vicars Scholarship

Introduction
Founded in 2003 through the East Tennessee Foundation by the friends and family of J.C. “Rip” Miller and John Vicars, this scholarship honors two community leaders who prioritized encouraging others. Miller and Vicars each dedicated their careers to coaching and education in the region.
Scholarship Award
One-year award of $2,300.
Eligibility
- Open to graduating seniors from Gate City High School, Rye Cove High School, or Twin Springs High School who reside in Scott County, Virginia.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens, demonstrate financial need, and intend to enroll as full-time college students.
How to Apply
Complete the East Tennessee Foundation Common Application between December 15 and March 15 to determine eligibility for this and other available scholarships.
