Application Criteria
1) Heritage
- Applicant must be of Korean ancestry: having a Korean parent, grandparent, or great‑grandparent, or having been adopted from Korea.
2) Enrollment
- Must be enrolled full time for the entire 2025–2026 academic year at a school located in one of the Southwestern region states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, or Texas.
3) Academics
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0.
4) Financial need
- Applicant must be able to demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
KWVD Scholarship Criteria
1) Heritage
- Applicant must be a direct descendant of a Korean War veteran who served in Korea during the Korean War Era, defined by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as June 25, 1950 – January 31, 1955.
2) Enrollment
- Must be a full‑time student for the full 2025–2026 school year at an institution located in one of the designated Southwestern states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, or Texas.
3) Academics
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0.
4) Financial need
- Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
