CME Group Beef Industry Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by National Cattlemen's Foundation
The Beef Industry Scholarship was established in 1989 through the Live Cattle Futures Contract at the CME Group. The National Cattlemen’s Foundation, together with the CME Group, continue to invest in the future of the cattle sector by recognizing exceptional young people in the beef community. Each year, ten scholarships of $1,500.00 are awarded to students planning careers in the beef industry.
Eligible fields of study include education, communications, production, research, or any other academic or vocational area connected to the beef industry. The program seeks to identify and encourage promising, thoughtful students who are likely to become future leaders in the industry.
