New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau — Scholarship Opportunity
Overview
The New Mexico Farm & Livestock Bureau (NMF&LB) will award three scholarships of $1,000 each. Recipients may use the funds to attend a university, community college, or trade/vocational school of their choosing. Applicants must have an immediate family member who is a current NMF&LB member.
Eligibility and General Conditions
- Three scholarships of $1,000 will be granted.
- Each person may receive this scholarship only once in their lifetime.
- Applicants must have a minimum cumulative scholastic GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Selection and eligibility decisions will be made without regard to sex, race, color, creed, or religious belief.
Required Application Materials
Include the following with your application:
- High school transcript to date; if currently enrolled in college, include college transcript.
- Documentation of SAT or ACT scores.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- A copy of a current Farm Bureau membership card showing an immediate family member’s active membership.
- A recent photograph (to be used for publicity purposes only).
Application Format and Additional Instructions
- Applications must be typed or clearly printed in ink.
- You may attach extra pages if additional space is needed.
