Every year, the Titus County Fair Association presents scholarships to a male and female graduate from Titus County to support their further studies at a college, university, or vocational school. Each scholarship is valued at $3000. This year, we are offering two additional scholarships, each worth $2000, to the candidates who secure the third and fourth positions. The Out of County Judging Committee will select the recipients based on merit.

Applicant Eligibility

  • The selection process will consider the following:
  • The academic performance of the student in high school
  • Admission eligibility for college/university
  • Leadership qualities exhibited in school and community activities
  • Involvement in the Titus County Fair
  • Financial necessity
  • Character
  • Future aspirations

Application Process

Applicants can download the application form from the Online Application portal.

Applicants are required to attach the following:

  • A small-sized photograph
  • High school academic transcript
  • A statement outlining college and career plans. Include any personal or biographical details that may be beneficial or of interest to the selection committee.

The completed application forms must be submitted to your School Counselor by September 15, 2025.

Information for Scholarship Recipients

  • Each scholarship will be disbursed directly to the student in two payments.
  • The first payment will be made upon verification of enrollment for a minimum of 12 hours at a college or university.
  • The second payment will be made upon verification of completion of a 12-hour semester with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and enrollment for a second semester with a minimum of 12 hours.
  • Recipients have two years from their graduation date to claim their scholarships. For instance, winners in 2025 who graduate in May 2026 will have until the Spring Semester of 2028 to utilize the scholarship.
