Women in Technology Scholarship

For nearly two decades, the Women in Technology Scholarship (WITS) program has been a beacon of support for over 169 women who are pursuing a degree in fields such as computer science, information management systems, or other IT-related disciplines. Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), a top-tier technology and system integration firm with a client base of over 1300 nationwide, is the proud sponsor of WITS. We are privileged to provide this platform to assist women in the technology sector to achieve their academic aspirations and unlock their potential. The WITS program is an annual initiative, open to women across the United States. It commences in the first quarter of the year, with scholarships being awarded in the second quarter. Multiple scholarships are granted under the WITS Program, with each recipient receiving up to $2,500.00.
Qualification Criteria
At the point of receiving the award, the students must be enrolled in, or have secured admission to, a two or four-year college or university within the United States for the forthcoming academic year. By the time the scholarship is disbursed, the students must be registered for classes at a college or university within the United States for the Fall semester. The scholarship is intended for women who are charting a career path in computer science, information technology, management information systems, or a related field.
Assessment Criteria
The scholarship is awarded based on the following key criterion:

- Female students who are college-bound (must be enrolled or accepted at a two or four-year university or college at the time of award)
- Must be majoring in computer science, information systems, business information management, or another IT-related field.
- Compliance with the application guidelines mentioned above.
