Women in Architecture Scholarship

Intro
The Houzz Scholarship Program, first introduced in 2016, funds and mentors students preparing for careers in architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, construction management, and the skilled trades.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 17 years old and enrolled in a U.S. or Canadian program in one of the following areas: interior design, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural engineering, or a skilled-trades school.
- There are five distinct scholarships available: Women in Architecture; Residential Design; Sustainable Design; Construction Management; and the Skilled Trades Residential Construction Scholarship.
- The Women in Architecture, Residential Design, Sustainable Design, and Construction Management awards are open to students who are currently enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate degree programs.
- The Skilled Trades Residential Construction Scholarship is specifically intended for students enrolled in certificate programs or A.S. degree programs that prepare them for work in the residential construction sector.
How to apply
To apply you must complete a survey covering your educational background and career objectives, respond to an essay prompt, and provide a link to your Houzz profile. If you have portfolio work, include images on your Houzz profile where relevant.
Women in Architecture Scholarship
This award supports and encourages women pursuing architecture as they complete their studies and move into residential design practice. Eligible applicants are female students studying architecture or architectural engineering at the undergraduate or graduate level.
