This scholarship was established in May 1987 by the Amarillo Handgunners Club, Inc. to provide financial aid to a deserving student engaged in or sincerely interested in a shooting sport or activity. The scholarship is named in the memory of Bill Goodson, a stalwart pioneer of the club.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle; and
- Be engaged in or sincerely interested in a shooting sport or activity.
- For graduating high school seniors in the northernmost 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle that are actively involved in shooting sports and activities. The recipient may attend any accredited college/university and may choose any field of study and must remain in good standing while attending.
