Mike Lozano Memorial Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Amarillo Area Foundation
This scholarship fund was established in 2013 by family and friends of Coach Lozano. The fund will provide one scholarship annually to a graduating high school senior athlete from the northernmost 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.
Eligibility
A) Graduating high school senior;
B) Must be a student athlete;
C) Must have a 2.0 GPA to apply and must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 while in college;
D) May attend any accredited college/university;
E) Must be interested in pursuing a degree in education and/or coaching for the purpose of teaching and coaching at the high school level upon graduation from college
