Introduction
The Steps For Change Scholarship is a combined income- and merit-based award intended to support up to three high school seniors as they begin college. Three recipients will each receive $2,000 to help advance their career goals. The scholarship recognizes students from low-income households who show leadership, a commitment to meaningful community impact, academic achievement, a passion for community empowerment, and a dedication to ongoing personal growth.

Eligibility
To qualify for the Steps For Change Scholarship, applicants must meet all of the following:
- Have lawful/legal status in the United States.
- Be a current high school senior who expects to graduate in 2025.
- Have been accepted to, and plan to enroll in, an accredited college or university for Fall 2025.
- Have a household income under $64,300 for 2025.
- Hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.

Note: Applicants who do not meet these criteria will not be considered. The income cutoff is based on a family-of-four threshold at 200% of the 2025 federal poverty level.

Application deadline
All application materials must be received by May 16th, 2025.

Required materials (submit all items)
1) Completed scholarship application
- Apply via the online form linked on the scholarship page, or download the PDF application, complete it, and return it by email or mail.

2) Official transcript
- Send transcripts to PO Box 27685, Los Angeles, CA 90027 or email to scholarships@wealthbyhealth.org.
- Emailed transcripts will be accepted for the initial review; an official paper/electronic transcript may be requested if you are selected as a recipient.

3) One letter of recommendation
- Written and signed by a faculty member or community leader on official letterhead when possible.
- Send as a PDF attachment to scholarships@wealthbyhealth.org or by mail to PO Box 27685, Los Angeles, CA 90027.

4) One-minute video
- Record a one-minute response to the prompt: “How would you value yourself?”
- Begin the video by stating your full name.
- Submit the video by emailing it to scholarships@wealthbyhealth.org or upload it to YouTube and send the link to that same email address.

Submission reminders
- All four items above must be submitted by the May 16th, 2025 deadline for an application to be considered complete.
