AWARD CONTINGENT UPON MEETING ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBLITY REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS)

  1. Demonstrate financial need as shown on your 2023/2024 FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) EFC not exceeding 002500;
  2. Enrolled/attending any accredited not-for-profit 2-year college/technical or 4-year private/public college/university in the United States as a first time and/or returning full-time undergraduate student (GED and home school eligible) with a minimum of 12 full-time hours per semester.  You must be enrolled full-time for the fall semester to receive funds for the spring semester.  NOTE:  No funds will be disbursed until AFTER your census (12th class day) at which time we will BEGIN verifying full-time enrollment through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC).  You are encouraged to provide your Verification of Enrollment (VOE) from the registrar’s office (AFTER THE 12TH CLASS DATE) or National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) in an effort to expedite the process. Upon receipt of your VOE after the census date, the check disbursement process will start and continue until all funds have been properly disbursed;
  3. Texas resident – The applicant must have a mailing address in the state of Texas.  Their institution MUST BE PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES.  (Funds cannot be disbursed outside the United States);
  4. Applicant MUST BE a US Citizen or eligible non-citizen permanent residents MUST provide a copy of your I-551;
  5. Graduate of a high school in one of the following 44 Texas urban cities (no exceptions please):  Abilene, Allen, Amarillo, Arlington, Austin, Beaumont, Brownsville, Carrollton, College Station, Conroe, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Denton, Edinburg, El Paso, Fort Worth, Frisco, Garland, Grand Prairie, Houston, Irving, Killeen, Laredo, League City, Lewisville, Lubbock, McAllen, McKinney, Mesquite, Midland, New Braunfels, Odessa, Pasadena, Pearland, Plano, Richardson, Round Rock,  San Angelo, San Antonio, Sugar Land, Tyler, The Woodlands, Waco or Wichita, Falls.
