Introduction
The Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec represents people injured in serious accidents and recognizes how vital public service is to a person’s physical, emotional, and financial recovery. To encourage the next generation of public servants, the firm offers the Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec Public Service Scholarship to college students committed to careers that help others.
Scholarship award
Each semester we grant a $2,000 scholarship to a student dedicated to pursuing public service. Scholarship funds may be applied toward tuition and other qualifying educational expenses at an accredited college or university in the United States.
Who may apply
To be considered for the Spring 2025 Law Office of Shane R. Kadlec Public Service Scholarship, applicants must satisfy all of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university for the Spring 2025 semester
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be a Texas resident or be studying in Texas
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be planning a career in public service (examples include law, social work, government, nonprofit work, or education)
