We believe helping the next generation of professionals succeed is vital to the economic health of our communities. To support that mission, we are proud to introduce the CAPTRUST Scholarship.
Overview
- Application period for Fall 2025 is now open. Scholarships will fund the Spring 2026 semester.
- Five recipients nationwide will each receive a $2,000 award.
- CAPTRUST is committed to investing in local communities and preparing emerging professionals for future success.
Who is eligible
- Students who are enrolled in an undergraduate program (incoming freshmen through seniors).
- Eligible academic levels: incoming freshman, freshman, sophomore, junior, senior.
- Applicants must have a current unweighted GPA of at least 3.7.
Essay requirements
To be considered, applicants must submit written responses to each of the four prompts below. Each response should be no longer than 200 words, and the entire submission must not exceed 800 words total.
Required prompts
1) Personal goals — Describe who you are: your personality, passions, interests, and core values. Help us understand what motivates you and the goals that guide your choices.
2) Accomplishments — Outline notable achievements from any area of your life (personal, academic, professional, athletic, advocacy, etc.).
3) Career goals — Explain your educational and professional objectives and how your chosen major or course of study will enable you to reach those goals.
4) Community impact — Detail your involvement in local communities (school, workplace, religious organizations, or other groups) and describe the positive effects of your contributions.
Selection and award
Five students from across the country will be chosen to receive $2,000 each to support their Spring 2026 semester. Applicants should ensure all eligibility and essay requirements are met before submitting.
