AAUW-Lew Williams & Joan Odud Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by AAUW Freehold (NJ) Branch
Intro
The Freehold branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) awards annual scholarships to women who have returned to college to finish their degrees. The award program — previously known as the Lew Williams & Leila Sulkes Scholarship — accepts applications each year from January through July for the next academic year. The application deadline is July 31.
2026–2027 Scholarships
Applications are now being accepted for scholarships to support the 2026–2027 academic year. Awards of $2,000 each will be offered. These scholarships (currently named for Lew Williams and Joan Odud) are funded in part by proceeds from the branch’s annual AAUW Book Sale held in June in Freehold, NJ; available funding depends on that event’s results.
