The Om & Shanti Scholarship provides four-year awards of up to $6,000 per student per year to graduating high school seniors of a public high school in Dallas or Collin Counties in the State of Texas. Preference will be given to applicants who intend to pursue a degree at an accredited educational institution in the state of Texas.
ELIGIBILITY
- Eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors of a public high school in Dallas or Collin Counties in the state of Texas.
- Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Preference will be given to applicants who intend to pursue a degree at an accredited educational institution in the state of Texas.
Selection Criteria
Selection criteria includes scholastic achievement, school and community participation, demonstrated leadership potential, and financial need. In the event that applicants are of equal merit, preferences will be given to first-generation higher education students.
