Academic All-State Award
Scholarship Sponsored by Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence
For over three decades, the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence has been recognizing and rewarding the best educators and students from public schools through its premier event, the Academic Awards Celebration. The 2025 edition of this event is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.
This event is a testament to the brilliance and positive influence of Oklahoma’s public education system. During the Academic Awards Celebration, the OFE grants:
- A cash prize of $1,500 to each of the 100 Academic All-State scholars, chosen from the graduating seniors of Oklahoma’s public high schools. The All-State Application and Criteria are available for reference.
Application and Criteria for the Outstanding Program Award
Since its inception in 1987, the foundation has distributed over $5.4 million in academic awards.
Qualification Criteria
Oklahoma public high school seniors who are currently enrolled and meet any of the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- A minimum ACT composite score of 30*
- A combined SAT Evidence-Based Reading & Writing and Math score of at least 1370*
- Semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program
Please note that we do not accept ACT superscores. The standardized test scores must be from a single test date on a national or district-contracted testing day.
Beyond the basic criteria, students will also be assessed based on their leadership skills, motivation, academic performance, and character, as demonstrated within their respective learning environments.
