Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon Education Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon Education Foundation
Overview
Each year the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon Education Foundation (APAOEF) awards scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $3,500. Recipients receive the award by check and may use the funds for any student-related expenses. Attendance at the Asphalt Pavement Association of Oregon’s Annual Meeting in December is required, as scholarship presentations take place during that event.
Who Should Apply
Ideal applicants recognize the vital role asphalt pavement plays in the economy and infrastructure and are interested in the design, construction, or technical aspects of roads and highways. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited program in Oregon — this includes engineering, construction engineering management, or construction trade programs at a college, university, or accredited professional trade school. Students working toward advanced degrees are also welcome to apply.
Selection Considerations
Selection may take into account academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, work experience, and financial need. Letters of recommendation are optional but will be reviewed if included with the application.
Deadline and Award Notification
Completed applications are due the first Monday in November (11/3/2025). Scholarship recipients will be announced and presented with awards at APAO’s Annual Meeting in December. Details about the Annual Meeting can be found under Events on the APAO website.
