Overview
The Etemi Law: Operation Give Back Scholarship is a merit-based award established to recognize and assist Connecticut students who are actively improving their communities. This scholarship honors scholastic performance, leadership, and a demonstrated commitment to service. Etemi Law is committed to supporting young people who are motivated to give back and lead positive change.
Who is eligible
- Current high school juniors or seniors, or students enrolled in an undergraduate program at a college or university
- Connecticut residents or students attending a school located in Connecticut
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or an equivalent level of academic standing)
- A documented history of leadership, volunteer work, or community service
- Complete application submitted by the posted deadline
Application materials
- Personal essay (500–1,000 words): Explain your academic ambitions, describe your leadership or service activities, and outline how you intend to continue contributing to your community. Share what motivates you to make a difference.
- Transcript (official or unofficial) showing GPA and current academic standing
- Proof of Connecticut residency or enrollment in a Connecticut school (examples: school ID, utility bill, acceptance letter, or current class schedule)
- Optional: one letter of recommendation from a teacher, school counselor, coach, employer, or community leader who can attest to your character and contributions
- Only one application per student is allowed; duplicate submissions will be removed
Applicants should ensure all required documents are included and submitted by the deadline to be considered.
