Overview
The Rock River Valley Tooling and Machining Association (RRVTMA) will award two scholarships of $2,500 each to graduating high school seniors in Spring 2026. This scholarship program supports RRVTMA’s mission of “promoting and emphasizing education” and aims to encourage students to pursue careers in manufacturing by funding those entering manufacturing-related postsecondary programs.
Eligibility
- Must be a high school senior graduating in 2026.
- Primary residence must be in one of these counties: Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Stephenson, or Whiteside (Illinois), or Rock or Walworth (Wisconsin).

Founded in 1989 with a single scholarship, The Cape Cod Foundation has grown into the steward of more than 330 separate funds. More than 100 of those funds provide annual scholarships to local students pursuing a variety of educational paths. The Black Women in Sport Foundation (BWSF) is a nonprofit committed to expanding the participation of black women and girls across all facets of sport—athletics, coaching, and administration. Each year BWSF awards four (4) scholarships to matriculating female college students. Recipients must be enrolled at the time the award is received. This award cycle, BWSF will present four scholarships total: three (3) for full-time undergraduate students and one (1) for a full-time graduate student.

What began as a single $1,000 scholarship in 1988 has expanded significantly; by 2025 BIACS awarded 29 scholarships.

BIACS distributes cash scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Recipients are honored at the Annual BIACS Awards Banquet held in Lexington, KY. The program includes both merit-based and need-based awards. For 2026 BIACS is pleased to add a scholarship specifically for students who plan to enroll in a community college.
